| A high quality knife begins with the raw material. National Knife Company Inc. purchases all steel used in the manufacturing of knives from domestic alloy bar mills. Only prime steel, fully spheroidized annealed with a fine grain structure meets our high standards. Knives are made from a high carbon chrome alloy tool steel, with properties to develop very high hardness and having high resistance to wear. Special refining and vacuum processing techniques control the micro cleanliness of the steel to meet our stringent requirements of the application. |
